Fertilizer and Agro-Review and update of energy efficiency benchmarking, new EE&EC standards, and technical guidelines for two sub-industries in Vietnam
Job description
Conduct comprehensive energy efficiency assessments in fertilizer and agro-industrial facilities, focusing on ammonia synthesis, urea production, and other energy-intensive processes.
Develop and review legal procedures or technical guidelines related to energy management and fertilizer production, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and standards.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in energy, chemical engineering, agricultural engineering, or related fields, preferably with a specialization in energy efficiency.
Energy audit certificate, energy management certificate, or ESCO certification (mandatory).
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in energy efficiency projects, specifically in the fertilizer and agro-industrial sectors.
Expertise in ammonia synthesis, urea production, and energy-intensive processes such as drying and thermal treatment in agro-industries.
Participation in at least one assessment involving the development or review of legal procedures or technical guidelines related to fertilizer production or agro-industrial energy management.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of waste heat recovery, renewable energy integration, and process optimization in agro-processing.
Experience with investment-grade audits, data collection, and energy performance analysis in fertilizer and agricultural processing facilities.
Language:
Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
