Tourism Analytics Specialist

Job description


The Tourism Analytics Specialist will lead the collection, validation, and analysis of tourism data to produce reliable evidence for policy and strategic decision-making.

They will develop tourism demand forecasts and scenario analyses using historical trends, market intelligence, and relevant macroeconomic variables.

The specialist will define, compute, and interpret key tourism indicators (e.g., arrivals, overnight stays, expenditures, occupancy, length of stay) and ensure alignment with national statistical standards.

Qualifications


Master’s degree in Tourism Economics, Tourism Management, or related field.

Minimum 10 years in tourism data analysis and forecasting.

Strong knowledge of tourism indicators and national statistical systems.

Experience supporting TSA processes and inter-agency coordination.
