Institutional and policy expert- Review and update of energy efficiency benchmarking, new EE&EC standards, and technical guidelines for two sub-industries in Vietnam
Job description
Lead the development and review of legal procedures and technical regulations related to energy efficiency in Vietnam's industrial sector, aligning with national energy policies.
Provide expert insights on energy efficiency technologies, market opportunities, and barriers, supporting policy formulation and stakeholder engagement in the energy-intensive industrial sector.
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree or higher in engineering, public policy, development economics, or governance.
Experience:
At least 10 years of working experience in government agencies, with familiarity in the development of legal document procedures.
Experience in similar work involving technical regulation development is considered an asset.
Technical Skills:
Solid knowledge of Vietnamese energy policy and energy efficiency in the industrial sector.
Strong understanding of energy efficiency technologies and technology service providers/suppliers in the energy-intensive industrial sector.
In-depth knowledge of barriers and opportunities for energy efficiency application in Vietnam.
Language:
Proficient in English, with strong communication, reading, and writing skills.
