Rubber and Textile Industry Expert-Review and update of energy efficiency benchmarking, new EE&EC standards, and technical guidelines for two sub-industries in Vietnam
Job description
Conduct energy efficiency assessments in rubber processing and textile manufacturing facilities, focusing on vulcanization, dyeing, and finishing processes to optimize energy consumption.
Develop and contribute to regulatory frameworks or technical guidelines related to energy management practices in the rubber and textile industries.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial engineering, textile engineering, energy systems, or a related field, with a focus on energy efficiency.
Certifications:
Energy audit certificate, energy management certificate, or ESCO certification (mandatory).
Experience:
At least 10 years’ experience working on energy efficiency projects in the rubber processing and textile manufacturing sectors.
In-depth understanding of vulcanization, dyeing, and finishing processes, and their associated energy demands.
Demonstrated participation in regulatory or technical guideline development related to energy use in rubber or textile industries.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in compressed air systems, steam generation, and thermal management in continuous manufacturing processes.
Significant data analysis experience and a proven track record of conducting energy audits in textile mills and rubber factories.
Language:
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
