Team Leader- Consultancy Service to Develop a Foreign Trade Information Portal in Angola

Job description


Control and manage compliance with the quality criteria, cost and scope of the project.

Monitor project progress, risks and dependencies and implement any corrective actions identified in order to minimise impacts.

Define objectives, develop a detailed plan, allocate resources, supervise the execution of activities, manage risks, monitor progress, resolve problems and communicate with all the stakeholders involved.

Coordinate all IT-related activities within the scope of the project.

Must have technical, leadership and management skills to ensure that the IT team is working efficiently to meet the needs of the project and the consultancy.

Qualifications


University degree in Engineering, Economics, Public Administration or Computer Science.

A Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in areas related to the subject of the contract is an asset.

Have at least 10 (ten) years' experience in the field of international trade, trade facilitation and regulatory reform in developing countries.

Have experience of managing teams in an intercultural environment.

Hold at least a postgraduate qualification in economics, commerce, law or a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications.

Have experience in working closely with customs authorities and/or other trade-related authorities in developing countries and private sector trade.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.

Demonstrate strong methodological project management skills.

Formal qualifications in project management would be desirable.

Having experience of similar missions or comparable economies would be an advantage.
