Business Analyst-Supporting the Implementation of New Digital Tax Systems in Armenia

Job description


Contribute to the analysis, planning, and implementation of complex IT systems in the public sector, particularly related to tax and financial domains.

Support the development of requirements and technical specifications aligned with stakeholder needs.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end business analysis for IT and e-governance projects.

Prepare detailed documentation including Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).

Provide insights from financial and tax-related data to guide system design and implementation.

Engage with public institutions and private sector stakeholders to ensure alignment of system functionalities.

Qualifications


Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, with a consistently strong academic background.

Preferred certifications include CBAP, CCBA, ITIL Foundation (or higher), TOGAF 9 or above, Zachman Framework, COBIT 5, or a diploma in Business Analysis/System Design.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with involvement in at least 2 successfully completed IT projects.

At least 2 years of experience on complex IT systems.

Minimum 3 years of relevant work on tax-related projects.

Proven experience developing terms of reference and technical specifications for network and collaboration systems involving government or private entities.

Experience in tax or customs system development is considered an advantage.

Strong capability in analyzing financial and tax data to define system requirements.

Proficiency in business process modeling using tools such as UML or BPMN.
