Aninver Supports Asociación Altamar Through a New Pro Bono Partnership

At Aninver Development Partners, we believe that professional expertise can—and should—be used to generate positive social impact. Alongside our international development work, we are committed to contributing our knowledge and experience to organisations that create opportunities and improve people’s lives in our local community.

We are therefore delighted to announce a new pro bono collaboration with Asociación Altamar Educación y Familia, a Málaga-based non-profit organisation that supports children, young people and families through education, personal development and community-based initiatives.

Supporting Altamar’s Long-Term Sustainability and Social Impact

Our team will work closely with Altamar’s leadership and staff across several strategic areas:

• Financial sustainability and diversification of funding sources
• Fundraising strategy and identification of potential partners
• Organisational strengthening and internal capacity development
• Governance and decision-making structures
• Strategic communication and digital presence
• Institutional positioning and stakeholder engagement
• Monitoring and communication of social impact

The collaboration will combine strategic analysis with practical recommendations that Altamar can progressively implement. Particular attention will be given to identifying realistic opportunities for strengthening the organisation’s financial model, improving its visibility and building lasting relationships with public institutions, private companies, foundations and other potential partners.

Education as a Driver of Opportunity

Asociación Altamar carries out valuable work in Málaga, using education as a tool to create opportunities for children and young people while supporting their families and strengthening the wider community.

Its initiatives seek to promote personal development, social inclusion and equal opportunities, particularly among people facing difficult socioeconomic circumstances. By working directly with children, young people and families, the organisation helps participants develop the skills, confidence and support networks they need to build a better future.

For Aninver, this partnership is also an opportunity to contribute directly to our home city. While much of our consulting work supports governments, development banks and international organisations across Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe, we also recognise the importance of supporting organisations that deliver tangible impact within our local community.

Contributing Our Expertise on a Pro Bono Basis

Aninver’s team brings extensive experience in strategic planning, institutional strengthening, financial sustainability, governance, communication and impact-oriented programme development. Through this pro bono assignment, we will adapt that experience to Altamar’s specific needs and organisational context.

The resulting Sustainable Impact Strategic Plan will provide Altamar with a practical framework to guide its development, reinforce its organisational foundations and increase the reach and effectiveness of its programmes.
