Luis Rojas Bonilla is the Director of Operations for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) at Aninver. He is an Architect, Urban Planner, and Urban Designer with more than 20 years of international experience in the built environment and development sector. His expertise covers the formulation of spatial development frameworks, climate resilience and adaptation plans, nature-based solutions, urban regeneration schemes, and the design and construction of resilient housing, schools, and public infrastructure across Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and Europe
.
He has provided leadership in projects with organizations such as the World Bank, the United Nations, the Green Climate Fund, and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. His work includes urban resilience, climate change adaptation and mitigation financing, community planning, post-disaster and post-conflict reconstruction, and innovative policy tools such as land value capture instruments.
Luis holds an MSc in Urban Development Planning (with Distinction) from University College London and a degree in Architecture from the National University of Colombia. He is a Chartered Architect in Colombia and a Chartered Town Planner with the Royal Town Planning Institute in the UK.
