Description of project

The construction sector continues to be one of the key drivers of economic growth in Kenya, and the objective of this assignment is to: (i) conduct a study to assess the current capacity of the domestic construction industry and its concerns and imperatives in keeping with the developmental aspirations of Kenya; (ii) arising from the situational analysis above under draw policy recommendations and associated proposals on sector regulations and procedures needed to reform the sector and improve performance of the Domestic Construction Industry with a clear indication on which ones are affecting the Industry and how; (iii) based on this analysis, articulate appropriate policies and make recommendations on a construction strategy to the Government, the Construction Industry and its clients regarding reform to reduce conflict and litigation and encourage the industry’s productivity and competitiveness.
