Team Leader - Fashion & Apparel Clusters / Associations
Job description
PROJECT: Advancing Digital Transformation and Cross-Border Cooperation between Fashion & Apparel Clusters/Associations: “Strategies, Skills, Solutions & Partnerships"
Description: The objective of the assignment is to facilitate further digital transformation and cross-border cooperation between fashion & apparel clusters/associations: To archive the objective the contractor is responsible for providing the following services for up to 8 associations/clusters:
T1. Introduction of the project ideas, activities, expected results and contributions from all involved sides to the participants and GIZ team.
T2. Identification of matches between needs of clusters/associations and expertise and capacities of contractor in the field of digitalization. This task could be implemented on-site in each country.
T3. Preparation of the roadmaps of with clear sequence of actions needed for introduction of relevant digital solutions for each clusters/associations or their members.
T4. Foster cooperation among EaP clusters and associations. Provide recommendations to the clusters/associations regarding possible cooperation topics between clusters/associations. Form the EaP consortium and develop it’s strategy of operation.
T5. Facilitate preparation of the project application for funding where at least 3 clusters/associations will participate. The project should have a digitalization focus.
T6. Enable the joint participation of clusters and associations in fashion & apparel B2B events which will have digital transformation or innovative focus in EU. Enable present the EaP Consortium to the audience of the event. Foster cooperation of EaP clusters/associations with similar institutions operating in the field fashion and apparel in EU. Up to 5 B2B events should be offered for clusters/associations and GIZ consideration to select one.
Qualifications

• Education/training (2.1.1): university degree (German ‘Diplom’/Master) in a relevant field (Economics, Business Administration or Social Sciences, IT, Engineering)
• Language (2.1.2): C1-level language proficiency in English
• General professional experience (2.1.3): 5 years of professional experience in the supporting clusters and associations operating in the field of fashion and apparel
• Specific professional experience (2.1.4): 3 years in consulting on digital transformation topic (introduction of digital solutions and services to SMEs)
• Leadership/management experience (2.1.5): 3 years of management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager in a company
• Regional experience (2.1.6): 2 years of experience in projects in EaP countries, Western Balkans, Baltics, Southeast- or Eastern-EU countries.
