Aninver Publishes Its Sustainability Report 2025
The report, titled “Turning Sustainability Commitments into Measurable Results,” presents a comprehensive overview of how sustainability has been integrated into Aninver’s operations, governance, and consulting services throughout 2025.
Aninver Development Partners is pleased to announce the publication of its Sustainability Report 2025, marking an important milestone in the company’s commitment to responsible business practices and sustainable development worldwide.
As a consultancy specialized in economic development, infrastructure, public-private partnerships, private sector development, and investment promotion, Aninver believes that sustainability is not a standalone initiative but a fundamental part of how projects are designed and delivered. Throughout 2025, the company supported governments, development finance institutions, multilateral organizations, and private sector clients across Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania, helping them address challenges related to climate resilience, economic growth, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and institutional strengthening.
The report outlines several key achievements during the year, including the formalization of Aninver’s sustainability framework through the adoption of four core policies covering environmental responsibility, human rights, labour practices, and anti-corruption. It also documents the creation of the company’s Sustainability Committee and its efforts to strengthen governance, transparency, and accountability across all business activities.
Among the highlights presented in the report are:
- 34 projects executed worldwide, aligned with key Sustainable Development Goals.
- €2.5 million in turnover and an EBITDA margin of 30%.
- 55% female representation across the workforce.
The company’s first carbon footprint assessment, measuring total emissions at 194.68 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent.
The Sustainability Report also showcases examples of projects that generated positive economic, social, and environmental impact during 2025. These include climate resilience initiatives in Benin, occupational health and safety programs in India, support for the creative economy in Sierra Leone, blue economy development in Belize, and Aninver’s first pro bono engagement supporting a non-profit organization in the Philippines.
Commenting on the publication, Aninver’s Founding Partners, Álvaro and José de la Maza, emphasized that sustainability is ultimately about creating opportunities for people while protecting the resources, ecosystems, and institutions upon which future generations depend. They highlighted the company’s commitment to helping clients make better decisions that lead to stronger institutions, more resilient economies, healthier ecosystems, and lasting positive impact.
Looking ahead, Aninver has committed to further reducing its carbon footprint, expanding its pro bono program, and strengthening how it measures and communicates the impact generated through its projects. These priorities reflect the company’s ambition to continuously improve its contribution to sustainable development while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
The publication of the Sustainability Report 2025 represents the beginning of a long-term journey. By embedding sustainability into its strategy, operations, and client engagements, Aninver reaffirms its commitment to creating measurable and lasting impact across the communities and countries where it works.
