Aninver Development Partners Partners with AfDB and Rwanda to Boost Creative Economy

Aninver Development Partners is pleased to announce our recent contract with the African Development Bank Group and the Government of Rwanda to support the growth of Rwanda’s creative economy. This ambitious project aims to strengthen Rwanda’s creative sector through a comprehensive feasibility study and program design, targeting four essential areas: Human Capital, Infrastructure, Financing, and the Enabling Environment. Project Focus Areas

The feasibility study will deliver a focused analysis to drive growth in key creative fields such as film, fashion, music, and visual arts, with initiatives including:

- Mapping Skills and Training Needs: This component will identify current skill gaps and recommend targeted educational programs to empower creative professionals with the necessary expertise.
- Expanding Creative Infrastructure: We will evaluate and propose new creative hubs, studios, and collaborative spaces in Kigali and other cities to enhance access to professional facilities.
- Creating Financial Pathways: Sustainable funding models, including grants and venture capital, will be explored to support creative startups and small businesses.
- Strengthening Policy and Ecosystem: Our team will analyze policy requirements and foster partnerships that stimulate innovation and offer long-term support to the creative sector.

With Rwanda already recognized as a top destination for cultural events and tourism in Africa, this project builds on existing successes to create a vibrant, resilient creative economy that unlocks new opportunities for local talent.
