Description of project

The project was carried out for Consultores de Ingeniería UG21 S.L. within the framework of the UAEE (Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronáutica Civil) initiative “Actualización del Plan Maestro del Aeropuerto de Armenia. Estudios y Diseños a Nivel de Fase III del PAL1 y Análisis de Conectividad de la Red Aeroportuaria del Eje Cafetero”.

It focused on conducting a comprehensive tax and insurance analysis to ensure fiscal and regulatory compliance in the airport’s financial and operational structures. The work also included an assessment of the organizational and operational model of the future airport operator, strengthening the project’s sustainability, institutional efficiency, and long-term management capacity.

  • Fiscal Analysis: Conducted a detailed assessment of tax and fiscal obligations, evaluating CAPEX/OPEX implications and long-term operational impacts.
  • Insurance Assessment: Analyzed insurance and reinsurance requirements across all project phases — construction, operation, financing, and verification.
