Aninver has contributed to advancing private healthcare development in Seychelles through our strategic support to Spence Surgical Inc and a hospital developer planning a new private medical facility in Mahé. This work reflects our strong expertise in feasibility studies, infrastructure planning, and financial and market analysis for complex development projects.
As part of this assignment, our team travelled to the island to conduct site visits and meet with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. This groundwork allowed us to build a detailed understanding of the current health service landscape in Seychelles, including the availability of private care, capacity constraints, and existing service gaps. We assessed the demand for specialized health services and outpatient care, ensuring that the hospital’s scale and service portfolio would align with both local needs and international patient expectations.
Our analysis also included a review of the regulatory environment governing private healthcare facilities, ensuring full compliance with licensing procedures and operational requirements. We examined the competitive landscape of the sector, identifying strengths and gaps in current market offerings to help position the future hospital strategically within Seychelles’ growing healthcare market.
A critical component of the engagement involved developing comprehensive financial projections, evaluating capital requirements, operational costs, and revenue potential. These projections support decision-making on the hospital’s business model and long-term sustainability. We also explored opportunities for medical tourism, leveraging Seychelles’ strong international appeal to position the hospital as a premium healthcare destination for regional and global patients.
