Our Experience in Panama
Family Agriculture Technical Assistance Project – Region 1
Aninver is supporting the Institute of Agricultural Innovation of Panama (IDIAP) in strengthening agricultural assistance for family farmers across Bocas del Toro, Chiriquí, and Ngöbe Buglé. As part of the IDB-financed PIASI program, our work focuses on improving productivity, food security, and climate resilience for smallholder producers. We have designed and implemented the Monitoring, Adjustment, and Learning (MAL) system, trained extension agents, prepared more than 1,600 participatory agricultural management plans, and provided continuous field support to enhance sustainable rural development.
PPP Research Across Latin America
For Quanta Services, our team analyzed Public–Private Partnership (PPP) opportunities in Panama as part of a broader assessment covering Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. The assignment included the preparation of monthly intelligence reports, identification of tender opportunities, development of PPP pipelines, review of tender documentation, and analysis of historical trends in key sectors such as energy transmission, telecommunications, and oil & gas. This work strengthened investor understanding of Panama’s evolving infrastructure landscape.
Agribusiness & Rural Development
Our consultancy team brings strong expertise in agribusiness, food systems, and rural development across Latin America and Africa. In Panama, our work with IDIAP demonstrates our ability to design field-ready technical assistance programs, implement adaptive monitoring systems, and strengthen agricultural extension services. Drawing on global experience in participatory planning, climate-smart agriculture, and community-based capacity building, we help institutions deliver practical, evidence-based solutions that improve productivity and economic resilience for rural families.
Infrastructure & PPP Advisory
Aninver has extensive experience analyzing infrastructure markets, advising on PPP frameworks, and supporting private-sector decision making. Through our research covering Panama and neighboring countries, we have developed a clear understanding of regulatory environments, sectoral priorities, and investment dynamics in energy, telecommunications, and transportation. This knowledge enables us to support both public- and private-sector actors seeking to navigate Panama’s infrastructure opportunities with confidence.
