Preparation of Safety Manuals on Construction Safety and Associated Training Materials
Description of project
The project supported the World Bank’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Community Health and Safety (CHS) Platform for the South Asia Region (SAR), which seeks to reduce risks and ensure safety on Bank-financed infrastructure projects. Aninver Development Partners was commissioned to prepare practical, hands-on construction safety manuals and associated training materials for use by PIUs, contractors, workers, and other stakeholders.
The engagement aimed to provide clear, pictorial, and easily accessible materials addressing high-risk activities and compliance with national, state, and international OHS/CHS standards. Phase 1 addressed general construction safety; a Phase 2 focused on sector-specific safety practices may follow.
